Saudi minister in Yemen talks
Saudi Arabia's interior minister arrived on June 30 in Sanaa to try to revive stalled border talks between talks two between Yemen and Saudi Arabia.
Large parts of the 2,000 km long border between the countries remain undefined, and the decades-long dispute over them has often flared into armed confrontation. Most of the border area is desert.
Prince Nayof Bin Abdel Aziz will discuss the dispute with senior Yemeni officials and is expected to deliver a message from King Fahd to president Ali Abdullah Saleh, officials said.
Yemen has been frustrated by the lack of progress in border negotiations, and officials have said they would consider seeking international arbitration to resolve the dispute.
