Kuwait sees more investment in Egypt

A Kuwaiti visitor last Monday said he expected a rise in his country’s investments in Egypt in the near future.

Emerging from talks with prime minister Dr. Kamal El Ganzouri, the chief of the Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development, Badr al Humiedi, said they had reviewed cooperation between Egypt and Kuwait.

Egypt’s Social Fund for Development has received 50 million US dollars in easy-term loans from the Kuwaiti institution to finance small-scale endeavors by young Egyptians.
