Egyptian labor in demand
The Ministry of Manpower and Immigration reported that the United Arab of Emirates' (UAE) Laura market needs Egyptians who are competent for work in areas of education, engineering, medicines and computer programming.
A report sent in by the Egyptian labor counselor there to Ahmed El-Amawi, the minister of manpower and immigration, warned prospective Egyptian workers against fake visas traded by some recruiting intermediaries.
The report focused on getting a certified labor contract from the ministry of labor and social affairs before joining work in UAE, citing the strict measures taken by bodies concerned there including regular crackdowns on manpower recruitment offices to ensure their observance to labor laws.
The report also demanded farther training for Egyptian labor to boost their skills and make them competitive to meet the UAE market requirements.
