Workshop on climate changes opens

Alexandria's governor, Ismail El Gawsaki, inaugurated a work shop on “Climate Changes” in Alexandria attended by the chairman of the Power Planning Department, Dr. Ibrahim Abdel Galil, and chairman of the environment affairs Authority Salah Hafez, together with a group of scientists and experts in this field.

The two-day workshop will tackle the issue of the recent atmospheric and climate changes. The workshop comes within the context of a national project to qualify national resources to deal with climate changes, which is being carried out by the Environment Affairs Authority in collaboration with the United Nations Development Program.
