Egypt, USA To sign New Air Accord

Originally published

Egypt and the United States will sign a new agreement on air transport in Washington. This agreement will boost the air travel movement between Cairo and some US states.

The new agreement will replace the old one signed between the countries in 1964. That agreement can no longer cope with the current increase in the air travel movement between the two countries.

An Egyptian delegation led by air transport central department chairman Mohammed Nadim Riyad traveled to Washington this week to sign the agreement on behalf of the Civil Authority’s chairman, Abdul Fattah Kato. According to Riyadh, the new lines will link Miami, Boston and Chicago with Cairo via Europe and Africa.
