Russia serious about completion of Iran nuclear power plant

Russia is serious about completion of Bushehr nuclear power plant in southern Iran, Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad-Ali Hosseini said on Sunday while commenting on whether Iran was to find an alternative for Moscow to complete the delayed project.

"As it was said by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, said on the sidelines of the Summit of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) last month that Moscow was serious about completion of the project," Hosseini said.

His remarks were made during his weekly press conference with domestic and foreign reporters.
