Attempt to detonate car near Gaza crossing

Palestinian official spokesperson of Presidency denounced Wednesday the attempt of detonating an explosive-laden car near al-Muntar (Karni) crossing, east of Gaza.

He said that this attempt led to blocking al-Muntar crossing, between Gaza and Israel, which means increasing the suffer of the Palestinian people and against the Palestinian national interest.

The spokesperson stated that the national security members stopped Wednesday a suspect car near the crossing when one of the persons inside the car opened fire at Palestinian security members and wounded 6, one critically.

Spokesperson of Presidency added that the security members realized that the car was bobby-trapped.
