Mubarak discusses with Abbas and Olmert developments

Egypt's president Hosni Mubarak yesterday telephone calls with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister designate Ehud Olmert "exerting every possible effort at various levels for pushing forward the peace march between Palestinians and Israelis, defusing tension and avoiding slipping into a vicious cycle of violence," the Egyptian government noted.
