Rice plays down Iran's aids for the Palestinians

Originally published

The US Secretary Of State, Condoleezza Rice, played down the importance of Iranian aid if the Islamic resistance movement Hamas decides to seek Iran's help in order to eliminate its tightened financial crisis the Palestinian authority suffers. An aid which Tehran showed readiness to provide with the aim to "break the tyranny of the USA."

Rice said in a press conference with her Saudi peer prince Saud al-Faisal in Riyadh that the "Iranians can promise all they want to, but I want to say once again that the Palestinians need much aid," adding that the matter is not limited to the aid as "a good life for the Palestinian people needs cooperation with Israel and that is a reality."
