Appeals to Sheikh Saad to quit his post
Concerning the current developments in Kuwait, the Kuwaiti dailies expressed in Friday's articles the support of the people of Kuwait for the decision which will be taken by the ruling family to deal with the issue of the inability of Sheikh Saad to assume the rule mission due to his health condition.
In a rare step, the Kuwaiti liberal paper "al-Qabas" urged Sheikh Saad to give "sacrifice" for Kuwait and quit his post. The paper said in an editorial article on its front page "it is an occasion now to ask prince Sheikh Saad to complete his march today for the sake of Kuwait and once again to scarify for its sake."
It added that Sheikh Saad will not be late today from another sacrifice in order to avert Kuwait obstacles by apologizing from assuming leadership and leaving it for the one capable among the ruling family members.
Meantime, the Kuwaiti daily al-Anba said in its main title "the ability is in the hand of the faithful Sabah al-Ahmad." Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah is considered a brilliant politician who worked as a foreign minister for four decades before he was appointed a prime minister in 2003, who has been since then running the daily affairs of the Emirate.
