Violence continues in various parts of Iraq

The Slovak government announced it will dispatch for the first time military men to Iraq, and in this regard, four army officers will be sent in the context of a training mission by the NATO for the Iraqi security forces.

On the other hand, confrontations and acts of violence continued in various parts of Iraq. The Iraqi police found near Karkouk, 255 km north of Baghdad, the body of an Iraqi translator working with the American forces, kidnapped by unidentified men 15 days ago.

Some 9 unidentified bodies were also found killed by bullets and bear traces of torture, and seven bodies were found by the American forces in al-Rustomeyah at the southern entrance of Baghdad, and two were found by the Iraqi police in al-Nasereyah, 375 Km south of Baghdad.
