American losses in Iraq increasing

The UN army in Iraq had great losses during the past 24 hours. In separate statements the American army in Iraq announced the killing of 6 of its soldiers and thereby number of persons killed in its lines increased in one day to 11 killed soldiers.

A US military statement said that two marines were killed in two separate attacks by light weapons in Falluja city west of Baghdad. In an earlier statement, the army announced the killing if two of its soldiers in a bomb explosion targeting their vehicle in north of Baghdad but gave no more details.

Two other soldiers were killed in a suicide explosions targeting a volunteering center for the police in Ramadi city. On Thursday the American army announced the killing of five of its soldiers in Baghdad.
