Nazif continues consultations for new government
After indicating that President Hosni Mubarak was ready to swear in a new government, Egypt's Prime Minister designate Ahmed Nazif continued consultations yesterday to complete his selections, according to the government.
Cabinet spokesman Magdy Radi said Nazif "had not reached yet the final line-up and distribution of portfolios. Radi said that not everyone Nazif receives will be a minister, however" the government noted.
Nazif's consultations are expected to end Saturday saying some portfolios will be changed and also their names and that a deputy premier position might be filled.
