Palestinian prime minister drops out of elections

Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qurei said today that he will not run for Palestinian legislative elections because Israel will bar the Jerusalemites' participation, the official news agency reported.

Qurei said there is a difficult situation in the Palestinian occupied territories and "without the participation of Jerusalemites, we will no go for the elections."
