The Islamic Army and the elections

In contrary to other groups, the Islamic Army in Iraq called on its fighters not to attack the elections voting centers.

On a statement on the Internet, the group said that this call does not mean supporting the political process in Iraq, stressing that it will follow up the "Mujahideen operations against the Americans and their hirelings in every time and place." The same group announced last week it killed one American it had held.
