Syria hosts thousands of Iraqis: Iraqi Defense Minister

Iraqi Defense Minister Hazem al-Shalan has said "Syria is being exposed to a big conspiracy," calling for supporting her.

In a statement to London-based al-Hayat newspaper published Wednesday, Shalan described campaigns of some Iraqi officials against Syria as a violation of the Arab values, because Syria is a host for thousands of Iraqis. He also described the current situation in Iraq as very bad.
