Originally published

The US has condemned Nathania Israeli attack operation. The spokesman for the US state department Adam Early called on the Palestinian authority to take measures immediately in order to prevent the occurrence of "similar" operations and put an "end to violence and to dismantle the infrastructure of terrorism."

Al-Jihad Palestinian group said in a statement that it had executed the attack in revenge of the Israeli aggressions against the Palestinian people and over the killing of its leader Loui al-Saadi.

For its part, the Palestinian authority, represented by its president Mahmoud Abbas deplored Nathania operation and considered it as not serving the interest of the Palestinian people who seek to achieve peace and found its independent state.

Mahmoud Abbas gave his orders to the security forces to find the executors of the operation and to punish them.

In this context, the Palestinian minister of interior Naser Youssef said that the Palestinian authority will take measures against those who stand behind the implementation of this operation, giving no details on the nature of these measures.

Meantime, clashes erupted in the West Bank between Palestinian activists especially from the Islamic Jihad movement and the Palestinian security forces. The clashes erupted as hundreds of activists from al-Jihad and al-Aqsa groups of the Fatah movement demonstrated in support for Nathania operation against Israel.
