Israel says that the parachutist who fell in the Lebanese territories was a mere tourist, rather than a soldier in the Israeli army, while Hizbullah says that the mere opening fire towards into the Lebanese territories is considered a violation for the Lebanese sovereignty.
On the other hand, the Israeli jets dropped thousands of leaflets on Beirut, Tyre and other Lebanese cities warning the Lebanese people from Hizbullah. This came two days after confrontation between the party and Israel which resulted in killing four members of the party and injuring 11 Israeli military men.
The dropped leaflets indicated that Hizbullah inflicts great damage in Lebanon stressing that the party is an instrument in the hands of its "Syrian and Iranian masters." The leaflets which were dropped by three Israeli helicopters said that "Tel Aviv is careful to protect its citizens and sovereignty, accusing Hizbullah of wanting to return back to destruction and devastation, as it alleged."
The Lebanese police said that 6 Israeli warplanes flew over the Lebanese airspace and intensively at intermediate altitude especially over the two cities of al-Nabatieh and Marjyoun.
