South Korea cabinet approves withdrawal of one third of its forces from Iraq

"The South Korean cabinet approved today Monday the scheduled withdrawal of over one thousand or onethird Korean forces from Iraq next year

The Korean ministry of Defense said the proposal would be made to the National assembly this week The ministry of defense announced its plan to reduce its forces in Iraq on Friday," JANA reported.

The reported said South Korea has over 3200 troops stationed in northern Iraq.
