Syrian parliamentary contacts to alleviate pressures

Speaker of the People's Assembly, Mahmoud Abrash made two telephone contacts with his Moroccan and Qatari counterpart, Abdul-Wahed Radi, and Mohammed Mubarak Khalifi.

During these two telephone contacts, Abrash underlined Syria's full cooperation with the UN Investigation Commission investigating the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri, which will be in a professional way away from political investment and in a way that would contribute to reaching the truth which of Syria and Lebanon's interest. For their part, Radi and Kahlifi stressed their countries' peoples and governments' stand by Syria in the face of the pressures to which Syria is being exposed, expressing satisfaction over Syria's cooperation with the international commission.
