AL delegation to prepare for Iraqi national reconciliation conference

In a new development which wins more importance, the Arab League announced intention to dispatch a delegation led by Ahmad Bin hali, the Arab League Assistant secretary general to Baghdad in order to prepare for the Iraqi national reconciliation conference. Bin Hali will hold consultations with several Iraqi official or non- official forces in order to prepare for the conference.

During his visit to Iraq, ten days ago, the AL chief proposed the convening of a preparatory meeting in mid November in Cairo to be followed by the national reconciliation conference in Baghdad. He then stressed he had got the support of the Iraqi forces and stratas for the idea of convening the conference.
