He noted that Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice wanted to hold a high level meeting for the UN Security Council depending on crooked words aimed to condemn Syria.

"Syria does not constitute any source of destabilization in the region, and what she can do just appears in her bid to keep her stability, and the one who is destabilizing the region is the United States," he said.

Roberts noted to Syria's important role in the Middle East saying Syria is working at tasks of development, and endeavors to keep herself away from what the US forces occupation of Iraq has unleashed in the area.

For his part, US Journalist specialized in Security and Defense Affaires, Robert Draivos, criticized in article on site of "Combating War," the so-called neo conservatives in the U.S. administration in light of their pressure on Syria saying "they are working to spread the war that was started by Bush in Iraq to other countries and other areas in the world as to implement their strategy aimed at remodeling the Middle East features."
