British judge describes Iraq invasion as foolishness
A British prominent judge described on Wednesday the US invasion of Iraq as "military foolishness," accusing the British government of crooking the law to justify the war.
Former Judge Stein who retired last month at the end of his post in the Higher Court, rejected the British government calls for the British people to think that the war on Iraq was not the cause that made London and the world more dangerous, depicting these stories as "fantasies that we should not listen to."
"The war on Iraq has made the world more dangerous as it made London a target for terrorists," Stein said pointing out that the British government was serious in her desire to halt debate on Iraq.
Stein said it was wrong that British Prime Minister describes the rule of law as a game, asserting that "protecting the rule of law was not a game, but rather a guarantee to achieve justice and it is a basic human right and a democratic value."
