Syria's Minister of Tourism said on Wednesday the development of ties of tourism cooperation between Syria and Turkey are moving rapidly.

He noted to the integration of tourism components between the two neighboring countries mainly the civilian, cultural and historical components.

Agha al-Qalaa considered the choice of Aleppo, northern Syria, as the capital of Islamic culture in 2006 would encourage tourists groups coming into Syria from various countries, and Turkey is one of them, as well this would allow the exposure of various cultural activities from Islamic countries on that occasion.
