Al-Shara holds talks with Palestinian official

Syria's Foreign Minister Farouk al-Shara on Tuesday underlined the necessity of boosting Palestinian national unity as a basic factor to achieve the Palestinian people's aspirations in sovereignty, return and the establishment of their independent state.

Shara's comments came in a meeting with Chairman of the Political Department at Palestinian Liberation Organization Farouk al-Qaddoumi where both sides held talks on the latest developments on the Palestinian arena.
