Egypt: Parliamentary elections will be held in full transparency and fairness

Justice Mahmoud Abullail, Egypt's Minister of Justice, said the upcoming People's Assembly's elections will be held in full transparency and fairness, indicating that Egypt is currently enjoying democracy which is based on the multiparty system and the rule of law.

This came during the meeting of the higher committee for parliamentary elections. The Minister said elections would be held on stages so as to secure one judge for supervising every ballot box.

On the other hand, an official source at the National Democratic Party has denied changes in the party leadership at the bureau level.

The source denied change of the NDP secretaries in the governorates after their performance has been assessed.
