al-Hayat: Lebanese premier highlights relations with Syria

Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Siniora said that Syria and Lebanon are two countries bound by the history and geography as well as future and common interests.

In an interview published in the London-based Arab-speaking al-Hayat daily newspaper on Tuesday, Mr. Saniora added that his latest visit to Syria and the talks he held with President Bashar al-Assad were very positive and frank. The Lebanese Premier underscored importance of deep ties between the two peoples and states.
