Tishrin: Accusations against Syria are false, Khalek

Deputy leader of the Syrian Social National Party, Mahmoud Abdul Khalek, has stressed that American accusations against Syria "are false and come in the framework of putting pressures on Syria."

In a statement to Tishrin daily published Tuesday, Abdul Khalek said " Syria is the main player in the Arab and regional equation." He added the U.N. resolution No. 1559 is a bid to cover up Israeli pressures on Lebanon that target its (Arab) identity.
