Lebanese scholar stresses deep ties with Syria

Lebanese interest requires enhancing relations with Arab and Islamic countries particularly Syria, Deputy Chairman of the Islamic Shiite Higher Council in Lebanon, Sheikh Abdulamir Kabalan said Thursday.

During a meeting with a delegation from Lebanese Amal movement, Kabalan stressed "what gather Syria and Lebanon are brotherly relations, cooperation agreements and joint pan-Arab and national interests, adding that "we have been and will always be together."
