Hariri's son on the assassination investigation
In Beirut, the Lebanese Foreign minister Fawzi Salloukh avoided to refer to Syria in his comment on the call made by the UN Security Council, confining to saying "Lebanon is waiting the final report by Detlev Mehlis to know the fact that each and every Lebanese wants to know because many acts will be revealed.
However, Saad al-Hariri, the son of the assassinated former Lebanese premier considered that the report is a decisive step in the process of the investigation but avoided, in his turn, to refer to Syria by name, though remarking to Syria was also clear when he called on all individuals in Lebanon "and the sisterly and friendly countries" to show "greater cooperation so as Lebanon will know the fact over his father's assassination."
