al-Thawra: One tariff for electricity for Syria, Egypt and Jordan

Syria, Jordan and Egypt adopted a united tariff for reciprocal electricity among the three states via the tripartite linkage network.

In a statement published Tuesday by al-Thawra daily newspaper, Manager of Planning at the Ministry of Electricity Nabil al-Shara said planning experts at the three states will hold a meeting next month to decide on the tariff as well as to expand the mutual electricity power grid to include Lebanon and Turkey.
