Former German Foreign Minister, Hans Dietrich Genscher, renewed his and German people high appreciation and gratefulness to the Libyan Leader of the Revolution, Muammar al-Qathafi, "for the leading role that he assumes, and his persistent request to remove the Berlin Wall and the reunification of Germany," JANA reported yesterday adding "Indeed, it was realized October, 3, 1990 by the declaration of German Unity after long years, during which the German Nation was scattered, due to the conditions imposed on it as a result of arrangement of the Second World War."

JANA said: In a statement to the widely distributed German "Fox" magazine published Tuesday, Genscher underlined the Leader's strong advocation for removing the Berlin wall and his constant calls at all international circles for the unification of Germany.

The Leader of the Revolution was the only one in the world who raised up the issue of the German people and supported it at all international fora. At the summit conference of non-aligned nations in 1989 the Leader called for ending the military control by the four nations of the divided Berlin, saying this situation was a shameful mistake for humanity.

He added, my country cannot accept falsification and injustices, if no one raises his voice against injustice in any part of the world, then my country would.

The Leader stressed that he is looking forward to the day Germany becomes United, and he said, in a dinner banquet held in the city of "East Berlin" on the 26 of June, 1978, that no one wants to see Germany divided into two parts, but the fascist policy led to this division. No doubt that we all look forward to the date that Germany becomes united because this unity is a right for the people of the German Nation.

In an interview with the Leader published by the German popular Magazine, Der Spiegel, on the 21st of al-Fateh (September) 1981, the Leader said:

"Not only did I ask for the German Unity during my talks in the Soviet Union, but also every where I go, I call for this unity because the German nation currently is in unnatural state, the Germans have the right to live in their homeland alone"

In an interview with the Voice of Germany Radio / Deutsch Velle / on the 11 of February, 1984, the Leader affirmed that Germany is an active nation and that is why it was divided after the Second War World to remain weak and chained.

Therefore the Four Nations have decided to be vital countries that own the military and economic resources, and in turn, they have the political decision regarding the fate of the world.

The Leader congratulated the German people for the reunification of their country. He said in his congratulatory letter sent to the former German Chancellor October, 5, in 1990 at the German unity besides being a defeat to the colonialist arrangements after World War Two, it is a victory to the will of nations to decide their own destiny, despite the enemies' schemes.
