Middle East Churches council underlines importance of dialogue

Council of the Middle East Churches underlined Wednesday importance of Islamic-Christian dialogue in the interest of joint existance.

In a meeting between Governor of Homs Province, Mohammad Iyad Ghazal, Secretary General of the Council Jerjis Saleh, Archbishop of Homs and Hama for the Syriac Orthodox, Silwans al-Nimaa, and Mufti of Homs, Fathallah al-Qadi, they discussed activities of the Council and its positions toward the ongoing events in the region.
