Al-Zawahiri also threatened in his video tape the Americans. He said they will see horrible things that "make them forget what they saw in Vietnam, if they continue policies of aggressions against Muslims."
He accused the American President George W. Bush and senior aides of hiding the fact over what is taking place in Iraq. He said that there is no outlet for Washington in Iraq except immediate withdrawal.
The new video tape for al-Zawahiri also strongly criticized the Egyptian security forces, which he accused of defending the American and Israeli interests. He also criticized the Pakistani President B. Musharraf.
Al-Zawahiri described the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas as a secular person who sold his religion and is moving from one failure to another. He described what he called "al-Mujahideen in Palestine" not to be dragged behind the Palestinian authority through taking part in the political process. He also called on the "peoples of opinions and army officers to foil what he called corrupt regimes."
