Tishrin: Syrian-palestinian relations are strong: Ghosheh

Originally published

Member of the PLO Executive Committee, Sameer Ghosheh, has said that the Palestinian-Syrian relations are strong and in the interest of the two peoples and all the Arabs.

He added that these relations participate in enhancing the joint Arab action in facing the standing challenges and dangers that threaten the Arab nation.

In a statement to Tishrin daily on Tuesday, Ghosheh underlined that any meeting between the two leadership in Syria and Palestine means support to the struggle of the Palestinian people.

On Israeli Premier Sharon's plan to withdraw from Gaza, Ghosheh pointed out that "this plan is clear and constitutes the final step as his statements indicate... since he seeks to continue the building of the racial separation wall and increase the number of the settlements and judaize al-Quds (Jerusalem)."

He called on the international community to put pressure on Sharon to carry out obligations under international resolutions. He also called on al-Quds Committee to shoulder responsibilities regarding the Israeli attempt to isolate and judiaze the city.
