Lahoud: Just peace is the only solution according to UN resolutions

President Emile Lahoud of Lebanon on Thursday said the just and comprehensive peace based on the United Nations relevant resolutions is the only solution to the Middle East question.

President Lahoud, meeting Turkish Premier Recep Tayyeb Erdogan, added that "security in Lebanon is a red line that should not be overstepped," stressing that the return of security to Lebanon is stabilizing day by day.

During the meeting, both sides discussed bilateral relations between Turkey and Lebanon and the latest developments in the region, particularly in Palestine and Iraq.

Erdogan, for his part, underlined his country's keenness to enhance cooperation with Lebanon in all fields, particularly in trade and economy.
