Egypt sends medical aid to Sudan

An eight-strong team of Egyptian doctors is to arrive in the southern Sudanese province of Al-Wihda on June 16.

Egyptian ambassador in Khartoum Mohammed El-Shazli said the step comes in cooperation with the South Sudan coordinating Council (SSCC) to demonstrate Egypt's support for the final peace agreement signed in January.
