New air line to link Algiers to Casablanca
The Moroccan carrier "Royal Air Maroc" is flying an additional trip between Algiers and Casablanca as of July 1st on Fridays, according to RAM sources.
The Moroccan carrier is already servicing six weekly flights between Morocco and Algeria: four linking Casablanca to Algiers and two Casablanca to Oran.
Seven weekly flights between the two Maghreban countries are upgrading air traffic to the "industrial stage," said Azel Arabe Benseghir, RAM Director in the Algerian capital city.
RAM flights from Algeria are already fully booked for the summer period, said Bensghir adding the new flight allows to meet the strong demand from Algerian customers.
Last March, RAM inaugurated the two weekly Casablanca-Oran air lines and opened a marketing agency in Algiers as well as a branch at the Oran airport.
