Nador customs seize 440 kg of compressed cannabis

Nador customs seized on Friday 440 kilograms of compressed cannabis pollen hidden in the refrigerating systems of several international transportation truck trailers.

The trucks were parked in a depot in the town of Selouane, some 12 kilometres south of Nador.

The depot owner, who was suspicious about the trailers, informed the customs services that proceeded to the search and seizing of the drug-laden vehicles.

Nador customs also handed over the case to the region "Gendarmerie Royale," rural police, to carry out further investigations.
