Lahoud for urgent formation of new government

President Emile Lahoud of Lebanon on Wednesday underlined the importance of forming a national federation government as soon as possible. "The new national government priority is to unveil who carried out the crime of Hariri's assassination and bring them to justice," President Lahoud said during a meeting with the Head of Lebanese Solidarity Party, Emile Rahmeh.

He added that part of the new government missions is to prepare for holding the parliamentary elections through which people express their true options, as well as completing the implementation of al-Taif Accord.
