Over 500,000 postcards call UN to help release Moroccans sequestered in Tindouf
Over 500,000 postcards call United nations to help release Moroccans sequestered in the Tindouf camps (southern Algeria).
According to a communique released in Rabat Wednesday, the Moroccan NGO 'Watanouna' (our nation) said that more than 500,000 persons have signed these postcards to send a message to the international community to endeavor for the liberation of Moroccans held against their will in the Tindouf camps (southern Algeria) by the Algeria-backed Polisario front that is claiming the separation of Morocco's southern provinces (known as the Sahara).
The NGO, set up on January 20 in Casablanca, will organise on March 6 in the Moroccan capital, Rabat, a national march in support of the Moroccans sequestered in the Tindouf camps.
