Lebanese dignitary underlines national unity

Former Lebanese Prime Minister Salim al-Hus underlined the necessity of adherence to the national unity and to al-Taif agreement to face the current stage.

In a meeting Monday, Hus said achieving the Taif agreement and activating communications between Syria and Lebanon are required at this stage to cement the national unity. He also underlined Lebanon's Arab identity, pointing out that the UN resolution caused a national fracture in Lebanon.
