Yemeni Nasserite Unionist party stands against pressures on Syria

Secretary General of Nasserite Unionist Party (NUP) in Yemen Abdualmalek al-Mekhlafi expressed Wednesday rejection for all threats against Syria and Lebanon and stressed the necessity of supporting both of them.

"Resistance is our only choice to regain our freedom and to defend our dignity as well as our existence," al-Mekhlafi said during the opening sermon of the two-day long 10th general conference of (NUP). He also expressed appreciation of the brave Palestinian Intifada in resisting the Israeli occupation.
