Iranian daily and UN Resolution 1559

Iranian newspaper "Iran" denounced the UN Security Council resolution No. 1559, asserting that it serves Israel and aims at putting pressure to Syria for its national and pan-Arab stances.

In an article published Tuesday, the newspaper called upon states of the region to have a diplomatic step to face those challenges and threats, pointing out to importance of the Syrian-Turkish rapprochement and coordination vis-a-vis issues of common interest.
