Al -Sadiq Emara: Increase in Sudanese projects

Minister of State at the Sudanese Ministry of Agriculture AL-Sadiq Emara said Monday that contacts with a number of Egyptian investors in the agriculture field took place after initiating the peace agreement with the Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM).

In press statements Monday, Emara said that businessmen from Egypt were interested in investing in the agriculture sector.

He expected that the volume of agriculture investments in Sudan would rise this year due to the influx of foreign investors in Sudan.

Sudan is expected to achieve an economic growth this year due to a hike in agriculture investments and exploiting northern and southern farmland, he said.
