Omar Suleiman in Saudi Arabia

Chairman of the Egyptian intelligence Omar Suleiman yesterday paid an urgent visit to Saudi Arabia. One Egyptian diplomat said that Suleiman handed over the Saudi crown prince Abdullah Ibn Abdul Aziz who received him in al-Dammam, a message from the Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.

The source gave no explanations on the content of the message or the talks Suleiman held at a time when his visit to Saudi Arabia comes upon a conflict with Libya which is accused by Riyadh of being involved in an assassination attempt of crown prince Abdullah.
