Palestinian Prime Minister highlights relations with Syria

Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmad Qurei praised the results of the talks held in Damascus recently between the Palestinian delegation and Syrian senior officials. "We found Palestine in the hearts of the Syrian people," he said in his speech in al-Rashidiah camp, southern Lebanon Thursday.

He also asserted that peace in the Middle East should be based on the international resolutions, condemning the "settlement belt" being constructed by Israel around the city of Jerusalem.
