Lebanese minister statement on demonstration

Lebanese Minister of Information Eli Ferzli has pointed out that Syria is a part of the national unity and the national reconciliation process in Lebanon, asserting the importance of protecting the special relations with Syria, particularly during the current critical stage.

In an interview broadcast by Lebanon's T.V. last night, the Minister said that the Lebanese people asserted rejection to the foreign intervention in Lebanon's internal affairs. For his part, Lebanese Member of the Parliament Faisal al-Dawod, underlined that Beirut demonstration confirmed national commitment to the Syrian-Lebanese relations and rejection to all forms of foreign intervention.
