Israel admits that a submarine sneaked into its coasts
The Israeli army radio and public radio said that the Israeli navy depicted last week that a vague "unidentified submarine " entered the territorial waters of Israel.
This submarine was monitored last Wednesday, four Km inside the northern borders of the territorial waters, 18 Km from the Mediterranean Coast. The two radios quoted a high ranking officer in the Israeli army that the submarine was monitored immediately upon its entering the territorial waters.
He added that the submarine most likely belongs to the fleet of a foreign country and was in charge of spying but had not the time enough to complete this mission. He continued that the crew of the submarine realized that it is monitored and it left the Israeli territorial waters after it was chased by one Israeli warship. He said that similar incidents were recorded in the past but were not disclosed.
