Syrian and US Universities to boost bilateral cooperation

Minister of Higher Education Hani Murtada on Thursday discussed with the US Ohio University Rector Thomas Schustack means of developing ties and the scientific cooperation with the US universities.

Dr. Mortada underlined the importance of opening doors of cooperation in the field of training Syrian lecturers at the US universities and the prospects of signing an agreement between the two sides in higher education and students exchange in addition to the staff qualification. The US side for his part stressed the significance of bolstering cooperation between the Syrian and US universities in all domains.
